Mystery And Weird Facts About Bermuda Triangle One Must Know

The mystery of the Bermuda Triangle still continues—8 fascinating facts
The Bermuda Triangle, also known as the Devil’s Triangle, has been a topic of great debate for more than a century now. With instances in the past and the current status quo wherein there are so many mysteries about the triangle still lying veiled, it only makes one wonder what is it about this nature’s creation in the North Atlantic Ocean, connecting Miami, Bermuda and Puerto Rico that is so mysterious, shocking and at the same time interesting.

On that note, here are some shocking and interesting facts about the Bermuda Triangle—
  1. The triangle isn’t that small as it looks in the maps often. On a total, it encompasses around 440,000 miles of the ocean, an area that is practically larger than the three Indian states of Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra combined together.
  1. Although the triangle is the main deal when it comes to all the disappearances and instances attached to it, things are experienced outside the triangle too, in the nearby areas, where the effect of the Devil’s triangle still can be felt.
  1. Within the last century, around 1000 people were killed in the triangle. Up until now, on an average, 20 yachts and around 4 aircrafts go missing in the area, ever year.
  1. Shockingly, the debris of any airplane or yacht that goes missing in the triangle cannot be found ever again. The prime reason for this is the Gulf Stream that runs near the triangle, which gets rid of the debris as soon as the mishap occurs, in no time.
  1. Many have debated over the theory of aliens and UFO being involved in the case, and attributed them as the reason for even the disappearance of the lost city of Atlantis.
  1. The government of the U.S. has the Atlantic Undersea Test and Evaluation Center inside the triangle, on the Andros Island of Bahamas. The food for thought about this center is that many have argued about the place being much more than just a test center.
  1. In the year 1945, when 6 U.S. Navy bombers went missing in the triangle and so did the people who were sent to rescue them, one of the pilots had reported about the triangle saying “Everything looks strange. Even the ocean.”
  1. Many people have experienced electronic fog in the triangle, indicating there are chances of a time travel element inside the triangle.
