Left Handed people, often referred to as “lefties,” are quite a charm. It is not just the fact that they are quite different than the usual, majority of the right handed people, but also their day to day activities, be it writing with left hand, eating with left hand and even playing sports like cricket and badminton with their left hands that makes them quite a fascinating lot.
On that note, here are some interesting facts about these “lefties” that you probably didn’t know—

  4. Left Handed people have three time more chances of becoming severe alcoholics in life, thanks to their brain being more inclined to using the right side—which has less tolerance to alcohol.
  5. Lefties are also quite late bloomers when it comes to puberty, as they tend to reach the puberty stage around 6 months to 1 year later than the right handed people.
  6. Issues like dyslexia and stuttering and stammering problems are more common in left handed people compared to the right handed ones.
  7. There stands a chance of approximately 39% for the left handed people to be homosexual.
  8. Creative thinkers, lefties are known to be great at multitasking and are also gifted to comprehend 3D arts and intellectual thinking mechanisms better.
  9. Many studies by historians have also claimed that left handed people and negatives are pretty much common. They have associated this with famous murders such as Jack the ripper and Osama Bin Laden, both of who were left handed individuals.
  10. If they roll their heads on the left side, they are most likely to turn out to be lefties, and if right side, then they are likely to become right handed.
